On this page we will compare and contrast two objects by running rigorous tests on each.TODAY....
Milena Bobeva and a Vending Machine plastic cup
If you were to glance at Bobeva and the plastic cup at first you would notice little difference...They are both shiny, they both have the ability to retain liquid and they are equally as good at teaching SSADM....However, here the comparison ends.....Look again at these two objects......As an experiment apply pressure to each of them in turn and you will notice that one shatters into pieces, whilst the other can still be used as a drinking implement....Try conversation with each of them...one will look impassively back at you, whilst the other will ramble on, in what one can only describe as, "Monkey Talk".There are also psychological differences....Take a minute to stare at each of the objects. Psychologists have concluded that within two minutes of the "staring" exercise, one of the objects will cause 90% of people to feel thirsty, whilst the other causes people to start attacking the object in the face.
Physically there are differences (Look Closely!).
Try pouring hot liquid into each one in turn. One of them excepts the liquid gracefully and holds it neatly for your consumption at a later date, the other becomes angry, irritable and can often become aggressive.
The final comparison is to hand each object an SSADM project...one will simply sit there and do nothing, not understanding what the hell SSADM is, or quite what the point of drawing 1000 DFDs showing the journey of a bank cheque is....the other will take the project and mark it erratically, giving 0.0025 marks for a piece of work that took 18 hours to complete, and will then try to explain the marking system causing you to become angry and aggressive. The object will then tell you in a foreign language to "leave the office".
For legal reasons we cannot uncover which results emanated from which object.
