Cannacott and Tansey - Who came first?

There have been few such striking likenesses in the history of mankind quite as remarkable as that of Ian Cannacott and Steve Tansey.

The two, aligned in dignity, have more in common than just their windswept appearance. Each are also renowned for their IS prowess, and their love of rock group Europe.

Cannacott, the younger of the two, says that although he respects Tansey, he doesn't want to be attributed with the tag of, "Tanseys Prodigy". He also resents the feeling amongst the overwhelming majority of the general public that without Tansey (and in particular the Toni + Guy "Stevie T" cut) the young Maidstone hellraiser would be nothing more than an anonymous face in the crowd.

"Don't get me wrong", pleads the 22-year-old Delphi programmer, "Me and ST have a healthy respect for each other....He's taught me loads about politics and women, but I want to be the first Canna! Not ST mark2!".

At time of going to press, Steve Tansey was unavailable for comment.

Thor Says:

Yes, Ian wants to be remembered as an individual and not a throwback of the success of Tansey, but his time is running out, and he's yet to step out of the huge shadow of ST.

Siegfried comments:

Steve Tansey's shoes are awfully big to fill, and his head is quite large too, due to the immense amount of knowledge he retains. Ian on the other hand is a veracious young man and has the ability to attain a form of "Tanseyian" ability, but I believe it is time for him to be focussing on, the Cannaquott ability.
